countries to date. We function as a family, both in happy and
in challenging times, in sickness and or in death. We have
fun; we pray together and celebrate our successes such
as at weddings, graduations, births, birthdays, Christmas,
picnics and retreats. As St Augustine famously said, "He
who sings prays twice". God really honours these prayers;
we have the testimonies to this.
Psalm 127 reminds us that "Unless the Lord build the
house" .. they labour in vain who build. We have not
laboured in vain for we have achieved a lot over the years:
• Singing at masses in different parishes within the
diocese and supplying music for virtual masses
during the pandemic
• Concert in aid of our three catholic primary schools
in the city
• Annual pilgrimages to beautiful Pluscarden Abbey-
just seeing the joy on people’s faces and the monks
dancing gives one that feeling of heaven on earth
• Participated in the Manchester Choral Competition
and Aberdeen Youth Festival
• In 2021 the choir became a Scottish Registered
